Event: Cowes - Torquay - Cowes Race

Date End of May 2009*

Event: Torquay Channel Islands 10 Day Endurance

May 23-30 – This is a proposed UIM International Invitation Endurance Event for RB type craft up to 60’. The planned legs of the event are as follows:

May 23 = Torquay to the Scilly Isles

May 25 = Scilly Isles to France (probably Queberon)

May 27 = France to Jersey

May 29 = Jersey to Alderney

May 30 = Alderney to Torquay (via the Nab Tower)

This event is requested by the club which has yet to be formed. The thinking is that it will not impinge on the ORDA event which runs at the same time as the classes are different to those being raced in the nationals.
